Tree roots in pipes removed in Sydney
Roots do not break into pipes so much as move in. A hairline gap at a joint lets in one fine root, and a few seasons later it is a mat that stops the house draining. A Wilco drains plumber cuts them out and seals the gap. Call 0468 207 504 and we will be there, often the same day.

The short answer
Tree roots enter sewer and stormwater pipes through joints and cracks, then grow into a mat that catches waste. Cutting and jetting clears them, but they regrow through the same gaps. The lasting fix is sealing the pipe, usually by relining, or replacing the damaged section. In Sydney Water's area, the pipe up to and including the point of connection is yours to maintain, and so is clearing roots that enter the junction there. Call 0468 207 504 and a Wilco drains plumber will be there, often the same day.
