Pre-purchase drain inspections in Sydney
A building inspection looks at what you can see. The sewer runs underground where nobody can. Before you sign, a Wilco drains plumber runs a camera through the drains and shows you roots, cracks and old repairs, with prices you can take back to the negotiation. Call Wilco on 0468 207 504 to book.

The short answer
A pre-purchase drain inspection runs a CCTV camera through the property's sewer, and stormwater if you ask, before you commit to buy. You get the footage, a marked plan of where the lines run and a plain-English report of any roots, cracks, sags or stormwater wrongly connected to the sewer, with repair prices. In Sydney Water's area the new owner inherits every wastewater pipe up to and including the point of connection, even where it runs beyond the boundary. Call Wilco on 0468 207 504 for a written, fixed price.
