The short answer
Start with what you want to take out. For better-tasting drinking water, an under-sink filter with its own tap is the simple answer. For sediment or taste at every tap and shower, a whole-of-house filter goes on the supply after the meter. Tank water usually needs sediment and carbon stages plus UV. A licensed Wilco plumber sizes it, installs it and sets the cartridge schedule. Call Wilco on 0468 207 504 for a written, fixed price.
